GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES:
1. Powers of the Committee:
a. To make recommendations on non-contractual
issues.
b. To enhance communication between the Board of Trustees and the
teachers of Aspen View Regional Division.
c. Topics of discussion may include (but are
not limited to): Board policy, Division
regulations, curriculum and programs, Division goals and objectives.
d. The committee shall not deal with matters
which are the responsibility of contract negotiations or the Grievance
Committee as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
e. To enhance communication between the Board
of Trustees and the Aspen View support staff.
2. Committee Terms of Reference:
a. Membership: - Three trustees

Superintendent or designate
b. Meetings: As called by the Committee, and in accordance with any applicable Collective Agreement.
c. Minutes: To
be filed at the Board office.
d. Reporting to the Board: Next regular meeting.
e. Remuneration: As per Board policy and rates.
f.
Budget: As
required.
