POLICY STATEMENT
The Board believes that
regular ongoing Professional Development for Trustees will enhance educational
services to students.
REGULATION
The annual Board Budget will
include an amount dedicated to Professional Development of Trustees.
GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES
1. Each
Trustee will be provided with an individual account to be used for Professional
Development.
2. Attendance
at activities directly related to Board and Committee responsibilities will not
be charged to the Professional Development account. (eg. ASBA, PSBAA meetings, etc)
3. This
budget can be used to cover the costs of courses, seminars and workshops
related to Trustee responsibilities.
