POLICY STATEMENT:
The
Board believes that professional
development and the pursuit of mutually
beneficial goals will be facilitated by the
Administrators' Association.
GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES:
1. The
Administrators' Association is intended to:
a. Provide
an opportunity for administrators to have input into the decision-making
processes of the Board.
b. Initiate
studies and projects directed at improving education in the Division.
c. Relay to the Board the school
administrators' recommendations and concerns.
d. Relay to the school administrators the Board’s
recommendations and concerns.
e. Foster strong two-way communication between the school administrators and the Board.
f. Provide professional development
opportunities for all administrators of the Division.
g. Assist with the achievement of the
Division's mission and goals.
2. The
Association shall consist of the Superintendent, the Chief Deputy Superintendent, Associate Superintendent, Directors, Principals, and Assistant Principals.
3. The
trustees may attend meetings.
4. Association
members have the right to meet as a Committee of the Whole.
