The Walk for Hope is an annual fundraiser at Grassland School that
benefits the Alberta Lung Association in the memory of Barb Tarbox.
Students raise pledges for the Lung Association and then the school
participates in a 1 km walk around the school grounds. The students are
treated to a lunch and juice after the walk. The event takes place on
the first Friday in June. Schools from across the province take part in
this walk put on by the Lung Association. Grassland School has
participated in this activity for the past two years raising over $1000
for the Alberta Lung Association.
