Principal's Message

Welcome to Landing Trail Intermediate School's web page. 

 It is my pleasure to introduce you to our school.   We are situated in Athabasca, Alberta and offer an excellent educational program to 440  students in grades 4 to 7.  Landing Trail is a dual track school offering both English and French Immersion. This is supplemented by a wide variety of noon hour and after school clubs as well as a very strong sports program.

 Our teaching staff of 24 members is complemented by a support staff of 18.  As a staff our Mission  is to provide every student the opportunity to develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, creatively and physically in a learning environment where the rights and responsibilities of all individuals are respected in a safe, positive and caring manner.
