AWARDS
Newbrook School encourages and recognizes outstanding student
achievement, commitment, citizenship and attendance. Awards are presented at our
Annual June Achievement Day.
Honor Award
- recognizes students who maintain consistently high marks
- eligible students must have a minimum average of 80% in each of language
arts, math, science, and social studies, and an overall average of 80%
- recipients will receive trophies
Most Improved
- recognizes students who have demonstrated academic, social and emotional
growth
Congeniality Award
- recognizes the social skills of one student in each classroom
- certificates are awarded
Principal’s Award
- recognizes a student for his/her contributions to the school community
- a coin set is awarded
Perfect Attendance
- recognizes the student’s dedication and commitment
- certificates and mementoes are presented
Achievement Pins
- recognizes students at grade 3 and 6 who receive the highest marks on
their June Achievement Exams
- Aspen View Lapel Pins are presented at a general assembly in the fall.
