FOOTWEAR—INDOOR—OUTDOOR
**PLEASE IDENTIFY ALL FOOTWEAR CLEARLY
All students are asked to have an indoor pair of shoes which are
not to be worn outside the school building.
Shoes which leave marks, especially dark soled running shoes,
should not be worn inside the school. If the shoes leave an
excessive amount of marks, the shoes will be sent home with a
request that the student no longer wear the shoes within the
school. Note: No shoes which leave marks will be allowed in the
gymnasium.
Outdoor shoes, or footwear suitable to the weather are requested
for use on the playground. Students are to remove their outdoor
shoes upon entering the building and place them in the boot
racks at the front entry.
For health reasons and to be prepared to evacuate the building
quickly in times of emergency, shoes are to be worn at all times in
the school.
ATTENDANCE
Teachers will take attendance of their homeroom class in
the morning and afternoon. Phone calls by staff members may be
made to clarify or verify absences.
Students are responsible for catching up on work missed while
absent.
Students who have several unexcused absences in any given
month will be reported to the principal and a parent /student conf-
erence will be arranged.
**If your child is absent on any given day, please phone the
school as early in the day as possible with this information.
AWARDS DAY
An Awards Day is held at the end of each school year to recognize
student achievments in academics, citizenship, and sports. The
tiem and place will be announce through newsletters and
bulletins.
