Parent Council

A Parent Council Committee is formed at the beginning of each school year to act as a advisory group. We have monthly meetings with the principal, a teacher representative, and our local school trustee where we talk about issues related to our school, education, and school division.

The Radway School Parent Council recently branched off and formed a society so we could fundraise to support complementary rograms, (Radway Society for Education and Learning). Last year the society sponsored swimming lessons for the grade 1-6 class , a year end camping trip for the grade 7/8 class, as well as two field trips for the ECS Class. Items were purchased for the the canteen and the Christmas concert. Every year we sponsor a lunch at our year end awards day. We also organize a staff appreciation lunch, where the staff is treated to a lunch together at the same time. Some families supply a dish for the potluck lunch and others take over supervision duties for the lunch hour.

The Radway School Council and Society are both very active and are crucial members of the school.
