SCHOOL DRESS POLICY

1. Rochester School has a ‘NO HAT POLICY’ for students, teachers and visitors to the school. Signs are posted on the entrance doors to the school.
2. Students are not to wear T-Shirts or pullover shirts that display:
   • Advertising for alcohol or drugs
   • Depictions of violence
   • Sexual connotations
   • Words or pictures that demean or degrade an individual or group
   These are considered extremely inappropriate wear at school.
3. Shirts or sweaters that expose the midriff are inappropriate wear for school. Spaghetti strap shirts and shirts that are very low cut are also inappropriate for school, including extra-curricular activities.
4. Students must dress for winter weather: Winter coats, ski pants, hats, gloves/mitts, winter boots.
