Vilna School and the Vilna Outreach Achievement Academy (VOCAA) are located in the Hamlet of Vilna, in the County of Smoky Lake, and serve students from preschool (3 year olds) to Grade 12.  We have built our strong academic focus of literacy, numeracy and self-regulation around a solid foundation of relationships and compassion. We utilize restorative practices, flexible programming, teacher advisors, a student support team including an Indigenous Graduation Counsellor, and Indigenous culture including daily smudge.

Vilna School is recruiting to 3 full-time (32.5 hours/week) temporary Educational Assistants. The assignment involves assisting with students’ educational program needs, including social skills, behavior skills, self-help and personal care needs. Training in speech, language and numeracy strategies will be a definite asset. This position will commence upon hiring and end on June 27, 2025 or earlier if the students were to relocate to another school community.

The current salary will be in accordance with the CUPE pay grid based on training and experience.
