Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.
Landing Trail Intermediate School is a Grade 4-6 dual track school (English program and French Immersion) located in Athabasca, Alberta. LTIS is uniquely nestled beside the Muskeg Creek Trails, well known for hiking, running, skiing and nature exploration. Presently, approximately 260 students attend LTIS. Our inclusive environment provides opportunities in which each student can grow academically, socially and emotionally.
Qualifications/Requirements: Interested applicants should be self-motivated, have superior organizational skills, handle detail with a high degree of accuracy, possess excellent public relations and communication skills and have experience with computer based data bases, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office. Coursework in a business program with Accounting or Business Management and/or equivalent would be considered an asset.
The position will be 35 hours/week and will commence upon hiring.
