Why take summer school?

Summer school allows students to earn credits towards their high school diploma outside of the traditional school year. Summer school courses are fully approved by Alberta Education, and credits earned are recognized in all Alberta school jurisdictions. Often, students enrol in summer school to catch up on courses they may have missed, to earn missing credits, or to free up time in their school year schedule. Both courses being offered this year are required for high school graduation.

Who can take summer school?

Aspen View Summer School is open to any student in the province of Alberta who will be entering Grade 10, 11 or 12 as of September 2019. Students not currently enrolled in an Aspen View school will need to complete additional registration forms.
