Heritage Day Showcase at Rochester School

Rochester School hosted its first Heritage Day Showcase.  Students were asked to complete project-based presentations about their own heritage. The students worked on their projects throughout the month of April researching and preparing. Parents and community members were invited to join us on April 30th to our open house showcase.  They were presented with "passports" and toured the world in our gymnasium receiving information about what culture/heritage they studied and what areas.  Presentations included food, dance, clothing and traditions. Thank you to 94.1 The River radio station for broadcasting from the school and promoting our event and a big thank you to all who joined us.
