Have a great summer!

Thanks to students, parents and staff throughout Aspen View for a successful 2024-25 school year! We hope you all have a safe and restful summer, and we look forward to seeing you all again in late August!

Here’s some important information to help you get ready for a new school year:

School opening information

All school offices will reopen on Wednesday, August 20. The first day of school for all students is Thursday, August 28, with the exception of Edwin Parr Composite School, which will have staggered entry on August 28 & 29.

Registration

You will need to register children for school if they are new to Aspen View. This includes children who are:

  • Starting school for the first time (for example, starting Kindergarten);
  • Attending an Aspen View school for the first time (for example, transferring from another school division);
  • Returning to an Aspen View school after registering with another school division or education provider (for example, returning from enrolment with a home education provider).

Student registration can be completed online here.

If your child is currently registered with an Aspen View School (not including Great Beginnings), you do not need to complete this form; instead, you can confirm, update or change your child’s registration information through the Returning Student Verification Process (RSVP) in Powerschool, which can be accessed here: https://sis.aspenview.org/public/ 

Student transportation

All Aspen View students who require busing need to register annually. Student transportation registration can be completed online here.

Please note: the deadline for bus registration is June 30, 2025. Aspen View Public Schools will endeavor to accommodate bus registrations received after June 30, 2025, however, late registrations may not be eligible for transportation until September 8, 2025.
