Drama
The drama curriculum supports students as they grow in confidence, creativity, and collaboration. In elementary grades, students explore dramatic play through storytelling, puppetry, and role-playing, learning to express themselves and connect with others. In junior high, where drama becomes an optional program, students who choose to participate develop foundational skills in acting, improvisation, movement, and speech, while also gaining an appreciation for the behind-the-scenes work that supports live performance. At the senior high level, drama remains an optional program, with students engaging more deeply in the study and practice of drama as an art form—creating, performing, critiquing, and exploring a range of technical and performance disciplines.
